Summer Internship Program
The Summer Internship is a core requirement and an integral part of the graduation requirements for students of the Prosthetics Department. The program aims to bridge the gap between theoretical academic study and practical real-world application, enabling students to acquire field skills and experience directly from industrial sites and companies.
Administrative Procedures for the Summer Internship

2 | Commencement of Training | Commencement Notice | The student formally begins training at the designated organization, which then notifies the institute of the start date. |
3 | Field Supervision | Supervisor Evaluation Form | An academic supervisor (faculty member) from the department visits the student on-site to monitor their commitment and the progress of their training. |
4 | Final Evaluation | Confidential Evaluation Envelope | At the end of the training, the supervising organization sends the student’s grade form in a sealed and confidentially stamped envelope to the department. |

Important Guidelines and Instructions for Summer Internship Students
• Duration: The internship lasts a mandatory period of (60 days) during the months of July and August, after the conclusion of the first-level final examinations.
• Attendance Commitment: Full discipline and adherence to the official working hours of the training organization is required. Unjustified absences may result in the student failing the summer internship course.
• Training Report (Daily Log): Each student is required to record daily reports summarizing the tasks and practical observations carried out, signed weekly by the supervising engineer at the organization.
