2. Knowledge Objectives |
Knowing the types and classifications of upper and lower limb prostheses. |
Understanding the principles of designing and manufacturing prostheses according to international standards. |
Identifying the raw materials used in prosthetics manufacturing and their properties. |
Recognizing the psychological and social effects of amputation and how to address them. |
3. Skill Objectives |
Acquiring the skill of measuring and assessing amputation cases and determining the appropriate prosthesis. |
Mastering techniques of plaster casting and using laboratory tools and technologies. |
Ability to fit and adjust prostheses according to each patient’s needs. |
Applying rehabilitation programs and training the patient to use the prosthetic limb. |
