1. General Objectives

Qualifying the student academically and practically in the field of prosthetics manufacturing and fitting.

Providing the student with foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.

Preparing specialized personnel capable of providing care for individuals with physical disabilities.

2. Knowledge Objectives

Knowing the types and classifications of upper and lower limb prostheses.

Understanding the principles of designing and manufacturing prostheses according to international standards.

Identifying the raw materials used in prosthetics manufacturing and their properties.

Recognizing the psychological and social effects of amputation and how to address them.

3. Skill Objectives

Acquiring the skill of measuring and assessing amputation cases and determining the appropriate prosthesis.

Mastering techniques of plaster casting and using laboratory tools and technologies.

Ability to fit and adjust prostheses according to each patient’s needs.

Applying rehabilitation programs and training the patient to use the prosthetic limb.
