The Citizens Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Medical Device Technologies at the Institute, organizes a workshop entitled 'E-Services for Citizens'

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Respected Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Taif Jassim, Dean of the Institute
Based on the annual plan of the Citizens Affairs Unit for the academic year 2025/2026, the Citizens Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Medical Device Technologies, organized a workshop entitled (Electronic Services for Citizens)
, which was delivered by Eng. Taqi Mohamed Abed
Eng. Marwan Abdul Razzaq Kamel at the Institute.
The workshop aimed to:
1- Introduce the concept of e-services and its importance in improving the quality of government services
2- Educate citizens about the mechanisms of using government electronic platforms
3- Promote digital culture and encourage the use of electronic services instead of paper transactions
4- Clarify the steps to complete electronic transactions in an easy and secure way
5- Spreading awareness of the importance of protecting personal data when using electronic services
The workshop came out with several recommendations:
1- Intensifying awareness and education campaigns about the e-services available to citizens
2- Organizing periodic training workshops to raise citizens’ skills in using electronic platforms
3- Simplifying the interfaces of electronic systems to be more accessible to all segments of society
4- Enhancing cybersecurity measures and protecting the privacy of users’ data
5- Providing effective and fast technical support channels to respond to citizens’ inquiries
6- Updating electronic services continuously to meet the needs of citizens.
